Apenas se ha venido a comprender esto, y es que, como todo el mundo sabe o han tenido la oportunidad de experimentar en la vida, la existencia -esa pequeña franja de mundo advertida pocas veces por nuestros sentidos- se lo debemos muy especialmente a uno de ellos, a la vista. Así, la luz es la fuente de la existencia, de todo lo que existe y en torno a la existencia solo puede existir el tiempo, solo puede existir el espacio y solo puede existir el movimiento, quiere decir que en torno a la existencia de la luz es como decimos que hay tiempo, espacio y movimiento. Por eso, todo lo que esa existencia signifique para un mortal, significará desde un sentido intuitivo de verdad en tanto que sólo la verdad se muestra y sólo se muestra lo que está ante la luz, antes que en otro elemento. Sin embargo, la luz no solo es fuente de la existencia de un ser inanimado, sino también de un ser animado, pero esto es de especial verdad para el ser humano, pues, de allí que no resulte absurdo pensar que el ser humano tiene su existencia en la luz, y ningún ser humano no puede tener luz si no es la que de él refleja, y ya que al igual que los demás cuerpos inanimados, su existencia en la luz obedece porque refleja la luz que le llega de otros cuerpos, pero además refleja su propia luz, su propia existencia.
