CUER-PACIO
Cuer-pacio es una palabra conformada por la fusión de 'cuerpo' y 'espacio', fue un proyecto iniciado por mí en 2000 y que después abandoné. Fuertemente inspirado en las obras de sus últimas series de Pablo Picasso, me resultó interesantísimo esos bodegones en los cuales Picasso utiliza el espacio y los cuerpos a su máxima expresión, comprimiéndolos ambos, cuerpos y espacios se comprimen hasta el cubo, quizás esta es una de las investigaciones hechas por el maestro para abrir más el campo del cubismo. Esta situación me sorprendió muchísimo en la época final de mis estudios de artes visuales, hacia finales del año 2000.
Cuer-pacio is a word formed by the fusion of 'body' and 'space', it was a project started by me in 2000 and then abandoned. Strongly inspired by the works of his latest series by Pablo Picasso, I found these still lifes interesting in which Picasso uses space and bodies to their maximum expression, compressing them both, bodies and spaces are compressed to the cube, perhaps this is one of the researches made by the teacher to open more the field of cubism. This situation surprised me very much in the final period of my studies of visual arts, towards the end of the year 2000.
Antecedentes
Mis antecedentes para el estudio de este tema, si bien fue Picasso y sus últimos bodegones, también los fueron una serie de dibujos hechos en 1999, durante mis jornadas como estudiante en la cátedra de Dibujo III en la carrera de artes visuales. De estos dibujos aun conservo algunos muy importantes, y son los cuatro siguientes.
My background for the study of this subject, although it was Picasso and his last still lifes, was also a series of drawings made in 1999, during my days as a student in the chair of Drawing III in the career of visual arts. From these drawings, I still have some very important ones, and they are the next four.
Finalmente, y tras variados y muchísimos ensayos de dibujos con el modelo, llegué a los siguientes cinco dibujos en los que se aprecia un estudio más sintético pero a la vez informal, atravesado por un sentido de abstracción de la compresión entre cuerpo y espacio.
Finally, after several and many essays of drawings with the model, I came to the following five drawings in which a more synthetic but informal study is appreciated, traversed by a sense of abstraction of the compression between body and space.
